The Day is Here!

Yes my devoted fans.
Today is the day that I meet my nemesis.
I must say that over the past few months I have been anticipating this day with delight.
I know I have not been very active in posting, but I'll share some of the conversations I've had with my enemy, so you can see what an obnoxious person he is.....

(Some background on this conversation. The goldfish sent me a picture of my assistant and said she was my twin. Not true.)

Me: And she is not MY twin.
Goldfish: Close enough.
Me: Nope. there is a huge difference between a fish and an obnoxious human.
Goldfish: What about between an obnoxious fish and an obnoxious human?
Me: Still a big difference. Fish are regal and perfection. Humans are warped attempts to replicate that.
Goldfish: That is correct.
Me: Really. I'm surprised you agree.
Goldfish: I'm a goldfish.
Me: Goldfish do not count in that generalization. They are in a class far inferior.
Goldfish: Heh, you're just jealous.
Me: Jealous of what? Your stupid color and idiotic manners? Or your lack of wit or charm?
Goldfish: There you go again displaying your utter ignorance and lack of understanding and perception as to what wit, charm, good looks, and overall awesomeness really are.
Me: For the record, I have a goldfish for a roommate; I know them very well.
Goldfish: He is *a* goldfish. I am *the* Goldfish.
Me: True. My roommate is an idiot. But from our conversation I gather that you are less intelligent that he is.
Goldfish: Not very good at gathering things, are ya?

And this is where I stopped replying. There was not need to bother myself with talking to someone so inferior to myself.

As you probably gathered, there is a new fish in my desk complex, but he is too busy to be photographed.

And McKellen should be posting tomorrow....though we are quite unreliable when it comes to regular posting. But tomorrow is a holiday for him, so you might hear something.

Interesting Facts

I, Herman, now have an Instagram.
Well, not just now, I've had it for a while.
McKellen also posts, so if you see something horrible, it is probably him.

Instagram

I don't post  very often, but what kind of celebrity would wish to spam his devoted followers?
Anyway, that is for your pleasure.
(For those of you whom the link does not work for, the username is HermanTheGreat)

On a more serious note, I now have a nemesis.
I have not had one for a year....well, a little less than one year.
My last one was the short lived LongLivesHerman blog.
That ended very quickly.
There was a singer who got under my skin for a while, I only met her once though, and I have sufficiently recovered from that experience. I don't even remember her name.....
(If someone could please refresh my memory on that particular I would be most grateful)

This nemesis is not going to leave me alone.
He had the audacity to ask me to follow him on instagram.
An interview proceeded, and this is what happened:

*Herman and McKellen always begin interviews with a positive rating of 15/15. As the interviewee answers questions unsatisfactorily, the rating decreases*

Herman: I don't like following people I don't know
The Goldfish: You would like me.
Herman: Do you have any special qualities to make you more appealing?
The Goldfish: Yeah. *14/15 for rudeness*
Herman: Give me an example.
The Goldfish: It's me. *9/15 for pride issues*
McKellen: Do you like the Hobbit or LOTR better?
The Goldfish: Lord of the Rings. *6/15 for picking a favorite*
McKellen: Have you seen The Scarlet Pimpernel?
The Goldfish: No. *3/15 for lack of education*
The Goldfish: Ya wanna FaceTime? *4/15 for enthusiasm*

McKellen and I then proceeded to hold a Facetime interview with The Goldfish, which did not end satisfactorily. *-6/15 for unnecessary insults, incorrect answers, and mocking the blue rocks*

That's what happened. I'm not making anything up.
If you want more proof, simply ask my ex-tennet, Liza Morales.
She was there. She heard it all.

On a happier note, McKellen and I are planning our trip to New York City.
It's going very well, and if you want to meet up somewhere, we can avoid that.

For now, I need to get back to my brain assements...
Not fun.

P.S. If you are so inclined, you can find my nemesis on instagram. His username is goldfish_12
I would not advise this, but I am doing this to show him I have no hard feelings.

Sketches

Herman and McKellen have recently started drawing while in their classes**. They wanted to share some of their drawings with the electronic world, so here goes:

"Lady of the Golden Hair" (Herman)

"Magnificent the Yoda" (McKellen)

"Baaaaahhhh" (Herman)

Who knows how long they will be in this phase?
Moods change overnight with these fish.

Signing off for now,
Will.

**The activity of drawing during class is not promoted or encouraged by this blog. Lack of attention during class can result in serious consequences.

First Day of School

Everyone loves the first day, when you get new supplies, maybe a treat or two, and I am no different.
In fact, this year I have finally entered level ten of training.....what I'm training for is still a secret.
Of course, the excitement wears off after a few days, but I still have some goodies that I'm savoring.
And I have a picture for you:

Because I'm nice like that.

Have a crying sighing Funeral
It's the worst time of the year
I don't know if Will will be so
Depressed this time next year

Have a crying sighing Funeral
And when you begin to weep
Say goodbye to fish you know
And dig a hole that's deep

Boo hoo the fishes who
Float where you can see
Nobody waits for you
They're buried by the tree

Have a sighing crying Funeral
E-liza-beth we will miss you
Oh, bygolly
Have a sighing crying Funeral
This year!

Boo hoo the fishes who
Waited for food in vain
But the fish from the creek
Sucked it all away

Have a sighing crying Funeral
And in case you didn't hear
Oh, bygolly
Don't you get anymore fishes
This year

Golly! Has it been THAT long?!?!

Well. I should say.

You must have thought we were dead.

But no.

Oh no.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we've just been having such a wonderful summer we haven't wanted to tell you about it.

But now we might grace you with a small explanation of why we've been quiet for so long.

#1 Mental exercises.
Yes, you might think we know it all, and I won't tell you that we, or at least me, don't know everything. But in order to keep our brains from becoming bored with all that we know, we (or at least I) exercise our minds. We used to do the exercises daily, but when summer sets in we stop. So for April and May, we were busy every day with strengthening our minds.

#2 Exercise.
YOU might think that we are the peak of physical abilities, and I won't say that I'm not, but like with our minds, we need to keep our fins and flippers in pristine condition. So for two months, June and July, we spent everyday doing extensive swimming for several hours everyday. By the time we finished our morning session (8:30am - 12:00pm) we were so tired we had no energy to write. Then we had to go do another session, during which I shared some of my supreme knowledge on swimming to some younger fish who needed help.

#3 Drama.
This section really only applies to McKellen, and as he is the only one who remembers that we need to post on this web thingy, none of us remembered while he was gone. Basically McKellen spent an outrageous amount of time from July 7th onward doing a musical. He didn't get a big part, but he still had to spend all day some days rehearsing over and over for this play. He said it was called "Fiddler on the Roof, but how he would know that, I don't know. Anyway, he was very busy from 9 in the mornings, till 10 at night doing this "Fiddler" thing, so you need to ask him for more information if you really care.

Those are the three reasons you haven't heard from us fishes in such a long time, but I assure you, we are all healthy, wealthy (at least I AM), and strong.

Who knows when you'll hear from us again.......as you can tell we're not very punctual.

Anyhow, if you ever swim to my side of the pond, let me know, and I'll try to avoid being there.

So long, and I hope you had a wonderful summer.
And enjoy what is left of it.

Herman
(Who'd you think it was anyway?)

Bored of the Ring: A Movie Review by Herman the Great

So, this evening McKellen floated over to show me his favorite movie.

Well, one of his favorites out of all the ones that he's been in.

Anyway, this one was just....well, bizarre.

Maybe it had to do with the fact that it was Part II out of III, and I hadn't seen part I, but still! It was slow, boring, and that stupid small person kept trying to put on the ring, (though I wonder what would have happened, since he never actually does). I mean, there were a few good parts, (though none with McKellen in them...he's not the best), mainly with the dude with long hair (though I think everyone had long hair in that), and when he and the other short guy were competing for who could take out the most bad guys.....
speaking of which, those or....orc....orchids? I can't remember what they were called, were plain weird. Really bizarre. They grow from slime pits??

The fighting was tolerable. Though sometimes it just kept going, and going, and going......

And what's up with that tree that walks and talks? I mean seriously. He sings songs that nobody who is anybody wants to listen to anyway. IT'S JUST PLAIN BIZARRE! What kind of dumb people wrote him into the story anyway. Don't be hasty. *snorts*

And why did the guy...Aragorn? keep fighting at the huge battle - when he had all those dead people to fight for him? He could just walk behind them, since they move sooo quickly. Just un-intelligent. He really should have been killed a hundred million times - wait a second. That's from the third movie.
Forget all about that.

*forgets*

So, I am quite unimpressed with McKellen's movie taste....though he promises me that I'll grow to like them.
Hmph.
We just watched another one recently, and that one was much better.
But more about that later.

Overall I would say it's not a bad movie.

It just didn't intrigue me to watch anymore. I barley got through that one I was so bored of the ring.
